To build biomass the carbon is absorbed from the atmosphere as carbon dioxide by plant life, using energy from the sun. Biomass is very abundant. Biomass takes carbon out of the atmosphere as it is growing, and returns it because it is burned. Biomass complete approximately six times the amount of energy of geothermal, solar, and wind energy sources combined.
The use of biomass is as an energy source has vast possible of potential to reduce the climate change problems caused by greenhouse gas production. It is easy to convert to a high energy moveable fuel like alcohol or gas. It is used in unused agricultural land areas and provides jobs in rural group of people. It is very cheap in difference to the other energy sources.
